Please note that only contracted extended day children may attend Primary morning care (7:30-8:40) and after care (3:15-5:30). Due to social services regulations and ratios, preschool children may not drop in. 

Primary Arrival  & Dismissal Procedures:

  • The front loop (Linda’s Loop) is to be used for “Extended Day” students as well as pickups for appointments, etc.
  • “School Day” Arrival (8:40-8:55) All cars turn south into the west gate off of Orovada Street and loop through to the unloading zone. An employee will usher students through the back gate where an adult will walk them in.

Primary School Day Pick Up for Beowawe, Toquima & Tuscarora East Parking Area  (Orovada Campus) 3:15-3:30
  • “School Day” afternoon dismissal (3:15-3:30), Primary children are brought by their teachers to the back gate.  Please drive through the loop.  When you get to the front of the line, you will briefly park your car, get out and help buckle your child in your vehicle.  Pine Nut, Peavine and Lahatan will use the west parking lot Kiss & Drop area for dismissal. Beowawe, Toquima, and Tuscarora will use the east parking lot for dismissal. 
  • If there are siblings, parents will pick up where the oldest child is.

Adolescent Arrival & Dismissal

  • Regular arrival takes place during a drop off window from 8:15 to 8:30 AM. Adolescent parents/guardians should utilize the Adolescent Drive Through Drop Off & Pick Up on the east side of the building.  Please loop through the parking lot and stop in the loading area to drop off your child.
  • Regular dismissal takes place during a pick up window from 2:55-3:10 PM. Adolescent parents/guardians should utilize the Adolescent Drive Through Drop Off & Pick Up on the east side of the building.  Please loop through the parking lot and stop in the loading area to pick up your child.
  • The front loop (Linda’s Loop) is to be used for morning and aftercare and during school appointments, etc. and is not to be used for regular drop off and dismissal. Morning Care takes place from 7:30-8:15.  After Care takes place from 3:10-5:30.

Elementary Morning Care Arrival 

  • Elementary Morning Care:  Each child who attends the morning care program must be walked into the building by an adult so that the student can be signed in.  This will take place in the Visitor Lobby at the front entrance of the school.

School Day Arrival

  • Arrival takes place between 8:30-8:45 AM: Elementary parents may enter the second driveway, past the 3-story building on Fantastic Drive. Make a loop (follow arrows), dropping off children at the playground gate.  The Exit driveway is marked and takes you onto Cannan Street.

Dismissal (see map)

  • All cars turn north into the 2nd gate off of Fantastic Drive
  • Ruby (ZONE 2 – Red Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the North side of the solar panel closest to the playground between 3:00 and 3:15.  
  • Candelaria (ZONE 3 – Green Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the South side of the solar panel closest to the playground between 3:00 and 3:15.  
  • Excelsior (ZONE 4 – Blue Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the North side of the middle solar panel between 3:00 and 3:15.
  • Virginia (ZONE 5 – Orange Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the South side of the middle solar panel between 3:00 and 3:15.
  • Toiyabe (ZONE 2 – Red Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the North side of the solar panel closest to the playground between 3:15 and 3:30.  
  • Stillwater (ZONE 3 – Green Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the South side of the solar panel closest to the playground between 3:15 and 3:30.  
  • Crystal Peak (ZONE 4 – Blue Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the North side of the middle solar panel between 3:15 and 3:30.
  • Sierra (ZONE 5 – Orange Signs) Parents/guardians should pull forward on the South side of the middle solar panel between 3:15 and 3:30.
  • Parents/guardians with children in more than one elementary program should go to the pick up area of the older child.  All Lower El siblings will be held in the back playground area until their older, Upper El or Crystal Peak sibling walks through to the pick up area.  The younger child will then join the older sibling and both children will be picked up at the second pick up time of 3:15-3:30 at the older child’s pick up area.
  • Parents who arrive before their child’s designated pick up window will be asked to circle the block or park out on the road west of the entrance gate.  To keep traffic flowing, we cannot have parked cars in the pickup lanes or on the road east of the entrance.

Elementary After Care Dismissal

  • Elementary After School Enrichment, please plan to park and walk to the Visitor Lobby at the front entrance of the school.  Any child who attends an after school program must be signed out by an adult.
