School Expansion Project – Inside Framing Continues

By UncategorizedNo Comments

Progress continues on the remodel of the Silverada Campus.  New walls are being framed in and electrical and plumbing work is being completed.

This photo was taken looking down the hallway that formerly led to the Boundary Peak Classroom.  The windows on the right are in our Principal, Mr. Eric’s new office.

We’re thrilled to watch the progress unfold!

School Expansion Project – Outside Work

By UncategorizedNo Comments

Work continues at the Silverada Campus!  This photo is of the former entrance to the school.  When renovations are complete, this former breezeway will become a storage area and an outside exit to the new playground area.  Did you know the new entrance for both the 1 story Elementary building and the 3 story building (future home of the Adolescent & Primary Programs) will be on the back side of the building near the Silverada Kiss & Drop?

Speaking of changes, we’re thrilled to say that work has begun on the conversion of the front parking lot to a new Elementary Outdoor Space.

School Expansion Project – Framing & Trenching

By UncategorizedNo Comments

Progress at the Silverada building is happening at break neck speed!  Check out these photos of new walls being framed in and trenches for plumbing being dug out.

For a reference point, the mural in this photo used to be just to the right of where Ms. Laura’s desk sat.  It’s now inside the new Virginia Classroom!

This photo was taken standing in the new Virginia Classroom, near where the old front doors to the Silverada building were.  Right now, you can see beyond into the new multi-purpose space.

The kidney shaped half wall in the multi-purpose space is GONE!  This photo was taken standing by the water fountains and looking into the former Hole in the Mountain space.

This photo was taken from the former Hole in the Mountain area, looking toward the new Virginia Classroom (formerly Ms. Laura’s Desk and the red couch area).

The unification of all Elementary classrooms in one building has long been a dream for our school and we could not be more excited to see this dream becoming a reality!
